This beauty wandered in my house today. Froze her for a few minutes to make her still for better photographs, then felt bad about it and offered some honey. She was so grateful she stuck around for more pictures!

Pretty sure this is a European Hornet, Vespa crabro, but I'm not sure. Can anyone verify? I'm thinking of submitting this to bugguide.org, too, but I'm a bit intimidated.
